OUR COMPANY
DS (Double Shift) Gas was incorporated in 2000 with a focus on marketing and distribution of petroleum products such as LP Gas (Cooking gas), Petroleum Motor Spirit (PMS or Petrol), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO or Diesel), Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK or Kerosene), etc.
Ds Oil and Gas is a wholly indigenous company and a Member of the Nigerian Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association (NLPGA).
DS Gas is also an off-taker of LPG from Nigeria (LNG) Limited. The company- using the trade name of “DS GAS” commenced trading in bulk LP Gas in 2016, and later ventured into the distribution of cooking gas through refilling plants (retail outlets).
The company presently operates from three retail outlets in the following locations :
1. No 9 Asipa Road, Amule Ipaja Lagos.
2. 132 Ayetoro, Ota, Ogun State.
3. Keta Housing Estate, Idi Aba Abeokuta, Ogun state.
With these three refilling plants, DS Gas was able to achieve a sales turnover of about N300 million in the year 2019, and this is expected to improve in subsequent years.
Ds Gas has a combined storage capacity of 120MT (210,000 Liters), and efforts are ongoing to increase this to 400MT before the end of 2025.
Ds Oil & Gas is focusing on the following three major segments of the market in the city of Lagos to start with : –
- Household end-users and re-sellers -Bulk distribution to heavy users of LPG such as manufacturers, multinationals, eateries, hotels, hostels, etc.
- Installation of skid stations (of less than 5MT) and gas plants of more than 10MT capacity.
- Ds Oil & Gas undertakes turnkey projects for the construction of gas refilling plants for our customers. We are in partnership with some reputable manufacturers in Europe for supplies of gas equipment, storage tanks, delivery trucks, etc.
- Ds Oil & Gas has two delivery trucks with capacities ranging from 20MT (bridger) to 5MT (bobtail). The availability of these trucks makes the movement of LPG (cooking gas) from the depot to any of our refilling plants seamless.

Since the inception of Ds Oil And Gas, over the past three years, the firm has made a recognition of its own in the gas industry in Nigeria portraying its significance on both central gas system installation and LPG/ Propane supply Mr. Bayo Ajiteru, Founder/CEO of the esteemed company DS Oil And Gas and a graduate of Accounting from Kwara State Polytechnic with a PGD in Gas Pipping at CIMT College Canada, is a visionary entrepreneur with a remarkable journey in the Oil and Gas sector.
Holding a degree in Accounting from Kwara State Polytechnic, he is not only a dedicated professional but also a loving family man, happily married and blessed with children.
Eager to carve his path, Mr. Bayo transitioned from the corporate world to blaze a trail of his own. He ventured into establishing his own Gas Plant, an endeavor that reflects his unwavering dedication and entrepreneurial spirit.
Beyond this, his passion for innovation and contribution to the field led him to engage in constructing LPG gas plants for others, sharing his expertise to shape a sustainable energy landscape.
Mr. Bayo’s commitment to excellence extends beyond his ventures. Driven by the pursuit of knowledge, he undertook a series of rigorous training programs focused on LPG, honing his skills and deepening his understanding of this vital industry.

Meet our Management Team
Our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) brings over 23 years of valuable experience in the gas and petroleum industry, construction, building, and project management. His expertise led to the inception of the company in 2000, and he has been instrumental in its management since then. Married with children, he enjoys hobbies such as traveling and participating in group discussions. Additionally, he has actively pursued leadership training to further enhance his skills and knowledge in the gas and petroleum sector.
